This special order finish from the early 90’s, revered amongst porsche purists globally for its early 90’s vibrancy that represents peak agassi-sampras dueling on the grass in England. this specimen is off the charts on wow-factor & scarcity.

    Werks Factory Car

Wimbledon was delivered on July 2nd 1993 arrival to Stuttgart Dr Ing. h.c. F. Porsche. The car was kept and used exclusively by internal Porsche heads in Stuttgart for her first 42,000 km until being released June 2, 1998 to first private owner Dr Bakker. Its first service in the public ownership happened in 1998. Five years of life at Stuttgart is one of the longest we have seen, it's quite certain that this model was driven by many prominent Porsche department heads from this era.

Dr Bakker added 80,000 km in summer months touring europe in his retirement years, and serviced the car regularly totaling 15 intervals until it was acquired for the private collection at Porsche Amsterdam in 2010. Amsterdam Porsche Centre acquired the car with the intent for executing a mechanical restoration for the Porsche Classic Challenge in 2014. They kept the car in their collection vault servicing it frequently as documented in photos and confirmed by GM Schokker.

“The 964 is used for PR purposes by Porsche Amsterdam in our private collection and as a Classic demo. The maintenance is carried out by Porsche Classic Partner Amsterdam since 2010.” -Mark Schokker Porsche AMS director.

Porsche Amsterdam used the car annually for promotional events, appearing in rally’s across Europe in the summer months adding mileage of 15km (9,000 miles ) since 2010. Porsche Amsterdam became a classic certified centre in 2020, and this 964 received a complete mechanical overhaul that is documented in photos. The car was given a full porsche classic technical certificate detailing her exemplary condition in 2020 at 85,206 miles.

We have added 3000 km to Werks-Wimby and she is one of the tightest driving 964’s we have ever driven, an absolute hoot! Just returned from CheckeditOut show in Chicago and Wimpy was one of the highlights of the show.

Our paint engineer bob executed a 40 hour paint correction achieving maximum glossometer readings and finishing the exterior in Xpel ceramic coating of the new owner. The interior and top was also treated with heaven preservation products.

We have a Porsche Classic radio that is available should the new owner prefer it for an additional fee. The car is priced to move, Grand Prix in Seattle has one with collector mileage that is double the asking price making this an amazing value for the collector seeking appreciation that affords the hits of adrenaline only a roadster of this heritage was destined to provide.
