Sally Carrera was appropriately named for her iconic color combination from the first generation of 996. Ordered new by James & Martha Hanna of Franklin PA in 1999.

James had the help of his son in specing Sally which was a gift to himself for his 65th Birthday. Hanna jr. swayed his father away from the Boxster which was 10k less, and talked him out of metallic black in favor of the vibrant and dynamic Zenithblue metallic.

James sold Sally to fellow PCA enthusiast Fred Sperling in December of 2007, this became Fred’s modern porsche accompanying his speedster, 89 targa & 911T. Fred acquired Sally for his summer drives to his retirement home in Vermont. Fred added approximately 8000 miles on Sally since 2007.

Fred passed the car to us following his 992 GTS order, stating: “the 996 is as fast & as agile as you need, I just needed to get a big one for my final chapter”

We toured Sally from Ohio through a weekend in Chicago up Lakeshore Drive. We visited out PCA club at road america were sally cheered the run groups and staying at the American Club in Kohler Wi.

Sally was given a thorough inspection at AutoEdge in Mahtomedi where they replaced her muffler from a lose baffle.

An oil change & brake flush was performed at Wolf in Wisconsin.

A full paint correction polish and ceramic coating was applied by Bob the Genie to prepare her for the next owner.
