This example represents the finale of the 911’s air cooled generations from ‘63 to ‘98, its significance in Porsche history is already immense, Oceanboxster is a collector example of widebody 993.

We’ve had the pleasure adding 2500 kilometers to Oceanboxster since last October. From the Florida Keys to Lakeshore Drive in Chicago to the Grand Rounds in Minneapolis & St Paul this example is absolutely striking in person. An original US spec widebody 993, ordered by real estate developer Nicholas Chochos following his PhD from Northwestern, ordered in special exterior OceanBlue Metallic over leather to sample Boxster Red (which shows as a terra-cotta // sedona clay toned leather)

Original Owner Mr Chochos took delivery to Porsche Fort Wayne Indiana. Oceanboxster was enjoyed as a Sunday driver by professional owners totaling only 20,000 miles with her domestic owners from 1997-2010.

Oceanboxster was exported to Germany in 2010 by Martin & Christine of ‘the Dolleschel Collection” The vehicle exported by Pannhorst GmBh. Upon arrival the vehicle remained in Pannhorst’s possession while Martin commissioned them to execute in September of 2010:

Martin Dolleschel - the button king of the world hailing from Westphalia- supplier to the italian fashion houses- Martin was seeking a rare spec of 993 for him and his wife to enjoy touring europe outside of their esteemed “Dolleschel Collection”

History of Model

Tony Hatter & his 993 design team pushed management for a special edition finale to punctuate the 993 generation Ocean rolled off the line in the final 6 months of 993 production.

The V-program was a special edition WTL turbo look variant to celebrate the end of the short production run on the 993. The first generation of 911 to use turbo fenders and aero on a non turbo model.

The 993 C2S was the more coveted version of this due to its purist RWD and a more limited production at the time of release allocation.

OceanBoxster was rolled out of Zuffenhausen October 10th, 1997 arriving to Porsche Fort Wayne Indiana December 1st 1997

One of only 3700 units produced worldwide including right hand drive. Tony Hatter petitioned management to approve a special budget for the naturally aspirated turbo look variants to capitalize on the end of the 993 production run.

The mid 90s was a time of very conservative specs in porsche. We spent years finding an example with such a unicorn 🦄 combination of exterior depth and interior dynamism as Boxster is absolutely remarkable in person.

Oceanboxster has a prolific feeling in the cockpit, truly remarkable throttle response and superb grip in the windies. The VARIORAM adds a lot of power to peak of the band resulting in a true ear to ear grin on every spirited drive.

We have driven every era of 911 and we find that the 993 serves as the perfect balance of analog outputs while maintaining the modern necessities and comfortable for touring and trips.

We have a fully detailed service log and multiple maintenances completed for the sale. Sportwagen Werk in Germany completed a thorough revival of belts, tires and scheduled services for 40/60/80 km intervals.

Our paint genie Bob completed a full three stage paint correction finishing in a complete ceramic coating after achieving glossometer readings above 💯 all around.
