1997 Porsche 993 S 3.6L 285 Coupé with 6 speed mechanical gearbox, a one of one exclusive character in an extraordinary Speed Gelb over Nephrite Green configuration with the benefit of taking advantage of rare options speced by Cologne's Weissweiller. 

Peter Weissweiller took an assignment in architectural engineering in São Paulo in the early 1990's.   While away on work he fell in love with a Brazilian, years later returning to Cologne, he was inspired to spec his special wishes 993 in PTS speed yellow over leather to sample nephrite green with exclusive walnut interior package.   

Weissweiller took delivery to Cologne Porsche on March 27, 1997 and ordered with an incredible spec including the illusive Sunroof Delete that is non-existent on US spec 993's.  

Externally, the Speed Gelb shade is a joy to behold. The combination with is Nephrite Green full leather upholstery and carpets is extrodinary.  The Burl Walnut package from the Exclusive department puts the finishing touch on eccentricity of this example. 

There are only 5 known speed yellow C2S in Europe, and this is the only one in the world with this spec.  A one of one finale' Tony Hatter 993 widebody.  

The scarcity of the 993 C2S is quite significant: Production numbered only 3,714 units of 993 Carrera S Coupé 285, including 1,962 units planned for Europe, compared to 5,978 Turbo and 6,948 units of 4S Coupé 3.6L. 

On the chassis side, our Carrera S is equipped with the rare M030 option (springs – stabilizer bars – shock absorbers) coupled with 18” lightweight Techno Wheels rims (hollow spokes), also very rare. The perforated Sport air box on the cheeks is recognizable by its chrome inlet.  The latter combined with the French custom exhaust by Scart offering an intoxicating and authentic melody.   

The car spent some time in an RS collection in Belgium, this collector made some much appreciated purist performance alterations.  A lightweight 993 RS flywheel & clutch releases the flat 6 when accelerating with sharp increases in revs.   We have driven several 993s and the RS lightweight flywheel makes the stock versions feel sedated.  It’s a true pleasure to combine these different pieces of equipment which give the model a sporty behavior and a generous sound.

We took delivery from the collector in the summer of 2023, prior to executing a Rhein river rally with the Kottenrun, the Porsche 993 Carrera S was given a large service: in addition to oil service, the double igniter, rotor, the spark plugs and the ignition harness were replaced.  as well as a full brake service all around the 4 discs and 4 sets of pads, the rear rear hood cylinders, and the mechanical wing opening system are new.

The complete chassis underbody was dry iced by the French car enthusiast Paul Boucher in Annecy. The underside is as brilliant as the finish on the body.

The import arrival occurred following several euro rally trips in 2023, upon arrival the car was taken into our 3M paint correction technician for a full three stage correction and ceramic coating. 

The paint chips on the bonnet were too much to allow for PPF wrap, so we chose a respray to the front bumper and bonnet.  This was completed by Raymond our Porsche certified body shop.   Following this we had the car wrapped in PPF from the bumper to the mirrors giving this new finish full road rally protection.  The ceramic coating on the ppf was then applied to the whole car giving it a protected gloss finish.  

Externally, the SpeedYellow shade is a joy to behold. Well regarded by Porsche executive heads throughout the 90's, Nephrite Green full leather upholstery, the same interior that then CEO Michael Macht spaced on his Turbo.  The Burl Walnut finish from the Exclusive department puts the finishing touch on eccentricity, the combination is absolute brilliance in person.

The burled walnut was sent off to the south go France to be restored, and it's in perfect condition.   Front hood struts were replaced, as was a new battery, and a modern Porsche Classic deck was fitted with integrated phone charging on the original Nokia cell leather dock.  

We list this car with heavy hearts, as there is only one in the world, however we are looking forward to making another connection in the world of vintage Porsche enthusiasts.

A distinguished example owned by an RS collector in Belgium, followed by Mr Beorgignon in France. We secured the mermaid in France in the winter of 2022. We executed several conditional items there before rallying the car through Germany with the Kottenrun.

this example was amplified with an RS lightweight flywheel and clutch. It is a complete HOOT to drive. A lovely enthusiast car with just the right amount of pull and her symphony is unique to the custom Scart French exhaust.
