Plötz’s Amethyst-Magenta C2 is an absolute iconic combination of burgundy emerald, a weissach favorite finish on the 964 RS in 1992, Amethyst is top favorite of many werks & weissach department heads, its heralded debut came at the peak of 964 era with use on the 3.6 turbo and RS. Amethyst was delivered January 13th 1992 to Otto Glöckner Sportwagen.

While similar in tonality to Violet metallic, Amethyst presents much brighter and more vibrant. We have devoted years of time to source this example and it a top-top stuttgart spec paired with magenta leather on the interior and optioned in the uber scarce porsche fabric inserts making this a purist collector specimen of 964. Many amethysts are trimmed in black interior, few in magenta, and scarcity is peak-peak for the porsche fabric.

We sourced this Amethyst-Magenta in Belgium in an equestrian suburb of Brussels. Our contact there acquired the car from the estate of the french family of Mr Mattias Huber, who acquired the car from its original owner in 2011 from Securemed & principal Michael Alexander Plotz.

Huber executed a full sorting of the car after acquiring it for 34k euro in 2011. That winter he organized a complete engine out service totaling 62 hours of labor with his personal mechanic from Michael Gerischer Porsche, this was completed at 87k km (54k miles) we have added 1000 km since delivery totaling the present mileage of 56,525, 2600 miles since engine out, Amethyst is mechanically dialeed and needs an owner who will stretch her legs!
