‘Arnie’ is a french delivery 964 finished in FORESTGRÜN metallic over cashmere leather. Rolled out of Zuffenhausen on August 21st, 1990. The car lived a cherished life in an around Paris in its early years with M. Buffer and residing north of Lemans with M. Arnaud since 2009.

Ordered by Monsieur Buffer who was traveled only 46 KM from 1990 until it’s certificate of sale in 2009. M. Buffer completed all scheduled maintenance in the service book @ km intervals: 5, 10, 20, 30, 38, 46, 55, 60, 65, and 68. Buffer averaged only 1800 miles annually from ‘90-‘13

Buffer performed the passenger side respray to correct the finish from life in Paris. Our paint correction found this work to be exemplary averaging 6-8 milles

In 2013 Mr Arnaud purchased Forestgrün, adding only 10 km in 10 years, highlighted by an engine out service in 2016 at 75km.

Arnaud purchased this 964 as his retirement Sunday driver, it had a private garage in his home in Flers just north of Le Mans.

Arnie was ordered in Paint to Sample ForestgrÜn metallic over tan leather with black accents.

We had a the joy of piloting forestgrün in the french alps in the spring of 2023, memories that we will never forget. The car shifts incredibly smooth with its recent clutch service & acceleration is smooth throughout the rev range. Throttle response and vocals from the 3.6 are classic 964 as were the looks in the villages during our pit stops.

Upon arrival to the United States, the 964 was shown at the Polo Classic polo event in Medina Minnesota.

Forest is currently at Auto-Edge our porsche mechanic specialists getting several items we noticed on our drives corrected prior to sale: an AC recharge, a topside oil tube replacement, key cylinder, rear wiper arm, & new discs in her awd system.

Arnie looked and presented incredibly well while in France. Which gave us even more excitement to witness the before & after of our paint correction engineer back in Minnesota.

Bob took Arnie in and spent 20 hours initially in the tan and black interior. Deep shampooing the carpets renewing their original camel tone. Leather is so good from this era and bob was able to remove all of the dirt within the seams of the seats & panels focusing on the areas we’re aware from many 911 details.

The paint remarkable from beginning to end as the clear coat was filled with swirl marks and surface blemishes from life in France. Prior to clay barring the car received a three stage polish and was finished in a full ceramic coating to provide a protective layer over the renewed gloss.

Glossometer readings went from the low 80’s around the car to 93-97 which Bob was thrilled with for a 33 year old finish
